Tank Liners
Reinforced Food Grade Tank Liner - Hydrashield
Tank liners are one of the most critical components of a water tank. They, more than anything else, ensure your water remains fresh, taste-free and completely safe from any contaminants.
At Rhino we pay special attention to our tank liners. Rhino Tank Liners are fabricated in-house using a state-of-the-art material (Hydrashield), which was developed jointly with a Japanese manufacturer and Rhino Water Tanks.
Qualified liner fabricators use the latest welding techniques and high-end machinery to produce liners of the highest quality.
Hydrashield is the latest technological advancement in liner fabrics on the world market and is exclusive to Rhino Water Tanks. Hydrashield is a food grade, multi-layered material which is also UV treated. The Metallocene film coating is laminated to the existing reinforced polethylene liner giving extra layers of strenghth and durability. The development of this new commercial strength liner once again demonstrates Rhino's commitment to consistently improving its product and reinforces its staus as a world leader in tank liner fabrication.
How It Works
All our tank liners are made in our own Rhino Tanks manufacturing factory and have been for over 20 years. Our qualified liner fabricators use the latest welding techniques and state of the art machinery to produce liners of the highest quality.
Hydrashield is the latest technological advancement in liner fabrics on the world market and is exclusive to Rhino Water Tanks. Hydrashield has a state of the art food grade, UV treated, multi layered film called Metallocene, laminated to the existing reinforced polyethylene liner giving extra layers of strength and durability. This gives Hydrashield 750 a service life of over 30 years and Hydrashield 1000 a service life of over 60 years. The development of this new commercial strength liner once again demonstrates Rhino’s commitment to consistently improve our product and reinforces our status as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of tank liners.
Hydrashield has passed water potable testing at the Australian Water Quality Centre
AS/NZS 4020:4020 and ANSI/NSF – 61 and has been tested for:
- Taste of water extract
- Appearance of water extract
- Growth of aquatic organisms
- Cytotoxic activity water extract
- Mutagenic activity water extract
