HYDRASHIELD 1000
Hydrashield 1000 is the latest technological advancement in liner fabrics on the world market and is exclusive to Rhino Water Tanks. Hydrashield 1000 has a state of the art food grade, UV treated, multi layered film called Metallocene laminated to the existing reinforced polyethylene liner giving extra layers of strength and durability. This gives Hydrashield 1000 a service life of over 60 years. The development of this new industrial strength liner once again demonstrates Rhino's commitment to consistently improve our product and reinforces our status as one of the world's leading manufacturers in Polyethylene-lined tanks and liners.
Hydrashield 1000 combines low density Polyethylene coatings with a high density Polyethylene woven base fabric and is then coated with the layer or Metallocene. With our modern welding technology we are also able to provide an overlap welded seam with an additional 5 layer Metallocene tape welded barrier against bacterial growth offering unsurpassed performance in water containment. Hydrashield 1000 has passed water potable testing at the Australian Water Quality Centre AS/NZS 4020:4020 and ANSI/NSF – 61 2008, section 5 and has been tested for:
- Taste of water extract
- Appearance of water extract
- Growth of aquatic organisms
- Cytotoxic activity water extract
- Mutagenic activity water extract
