GREEN VOUCHERS
$50,000 GREEN VOUCHERS FOR SCHOOLS - CLOSING SOON
On July 1st the current $50,000 GREEN VOUCHER grants for every school in Australia will change to the National Solar Schools Program. Although Schools will still be able to claim a grant for installing Water Tanks, the water tank component reduces to a maximum of $30,000 instead of the full $50,000. If your school wants to claim the full $50,000 you will need to have claimed your voucher before July 1st. THIS DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE TO HAVE ORDERED OR INSTALLED THE TANK BY THEN - JUST CLAIMED THE VOUCHER.
Our company has been installing Rhino Tanks in schools for many years and would be happy to provide a quote for any school. We also work closely with many major irrigation companies that can design your project as well as complete all plumbing requirements. If you would like to find out more about our affiliated irrigation companies in your area contact the relevant 1800 number for your state listed on the home page or email sales@rhinotanks.com.au

SCHOOL WATER SAVING PROJECTS
SPORTING GROUNDS
Over the past 2 years, Rhino Water Tanks has been working with many local councils and sporting clubs to install our large capacity Rhino Tanks at many sporting ovals, tennis courts and bowling greens around Australia. The photo at the top of the page is of a recent installation at Skilled Stadium for the Geelong Cricket Club. The photo to the left is a recent installation at East Belmont Cricket Club.
If your club would like assistance in planning and implementing a water saving project contact the relevant 1800 number in your state or email sales@rhinotanks.com.au
GEELONG GRAMMAR TANKS
Attached is a photo of some recently installed Rhino Tanks at Geelong Grammar School. The installation consisted of 5 x 240,000L tanks in the colour of Ironstone. Four of the tanks are for rainwater harvesting off the nearby swimming pool complex and one is an isolated full Fire Tank specifically for emergency fire fighting.
WHITTLESEA SECONDARY COLLEGE
WSC used funding from the Community Water Grants to install a 186,809 Litre RHINO Water Tank to store water to irrigate ovals. Until recently, all stormwater from the entire school ran out into a nearby river. Now, the stormwater is first collected in a small settling tank and then pumped into the Rhino Tank ready for the irrigation system. Any overflow now runs into some custom designed wetlands areas that the students use as a resource for their studies. Not only are the ovals looking greener, but the students also have a fabulous resource at their fingertips.
GEEBUNG SPECIAL SCHOOL
Each day it provides services to 150 students who have severe intellectual and physical disabilities. A further 70 school staff and volunteers are also involved daily in the programs. The school facilities are accessed by other community groups on weekends and after school. The water consumption at the school is very high. In the last three months, the school considers it has saved over 100,000 litres. Other results include increased school community awareness and students being made aware of conserving water at all times.
SCHOOL CAMP
The FOURPOST YOUTH CAMP in Deniliquin caters for numerous school camps throughout the year and almost entirely runs off tank water. The stormwater from the 2 main accommodation blocks runs into 2 separate RHINO tanks and the camp has just been successful with a water grant to install a third tank next to the dining hall. All showers, toilets and washing basins are connected to these tanks and the overflow runs into a manmade lake that is used for rafting and environmental activities.
