Rhino Water Tanks continues to lead the way in polyethylene lined steel tanks in Australia and around the world.  Although we now export to more than 20 countries, our family owned and operated business places a strong emphasis on supporting regional Australia and in particular many sporting clubs affected by the drought.  One such sporting organisation that has recently benefitted from Rhino's generosity is the Tamworth Jockey Club.  Following recent issues with ground water availability that were jeopardising the Club's tracks, a study recommended the Club urgently install two large water tanks to store ground water pumped from the Club's two bores thereby enabling irrigation of the tracks to be conducted in a more efficient manner.  Racing NSW contributed $50,000 towards the project as well as TJC's own funds.  Consequently, the Club secured two 260,000L storage tanks from Rhino Water Tanks which Rhino installed at extremely short notice and also assisted the club remain within their budget.  The tanks are now operational and are already making a difference to one of regional Australia's largest racing clubs.

Rhino Water Tanks announces the release of the NEW 'Rhino Safeguard' series of tanks.  Unique to Rhino Water Tanks, the Rhino Safeguard Series has been developed in response to the growing need to ensure your water tank has the best chance of surviving a bushfire.  The dimensions and capacities of this new range of tanks are the same as the standard range; however the NEW 3 stage dual skin insulated protection system has a 130mm air gap between the existing tank wall and an outer shell to help protect the tank proper and the liner.  Another significant feature is that the outlets are actually fitted through the bottom of the tank and plumbed underground to prevent damage during a fire front.  An additional Galvanised Valve Access Box is also fitted to enclose the valves at their surface exit point as well a sprinkler mounted on the roof and plumbed to the tank for an added cooling effect.  For more information about the new RHINO SAFEGUARD series contact your nearest sales office on 1800 632 410 or email sales@rhinotanks.com.au for a quote.
